How the Türkiye visa & residence photo process works
Türkiye uses a larger 50×60 mm biometric photo for visa and residence-permit applications, on a plain white background, front-facing with a neutral expression. That format is bigger than the ICAO 35×45 mm most travellers carry, so a reused Schengen-style photo is the wrong size from the start. At 300 dpi the digital image works out to 590×708 px. The same photo is handed to the Türkiye (Turkey) visa or residence authority — at a consulate, an application centre, or with your file. Snapfora crops and sizes to 50×60 mm locally and flags head height and tilt so you can fix problems before you submit, rather than after a rejection. Snapfora builds to the published spec but cannot guarantee acceptance — the issuing authority decides.
