How the Malaysia passport photo process works
A Malaysian photo is a taller 35×50 mm size on a plain white background, used for the passport and most visa and e-visa applications, with the head filling 70–80% of the frame. The finished photo is taken to spec and submitted with your Malaysia application to the issuing authority, either as a printed photo at the counter or as an upload for online services. Hair must not cover the forehead or ears, the expression stays neutral with the mouth closed, and the photo should be in colour and taken within the last six months.
